ADA Green Leaf Artist Anson started learning piano since six. He has obtained the ATCL Performance Diploma in piano with distinction from the Trinity College London and the Grade 8 Certificate for Violin from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. In 2014, Anson received a grant from the “Artists with Disability Development Fund” sponsored by Lee Hysan Foundation for studying piano under the mentorship of Mr Alan Chu, the Principal Keyboard of Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
Frequently invited to perform in schools and public, Anson has gained valuable stage experience. In recent years, he cooperated with various musicians and arts groups, including renowned violinist Midori Gotō, the Hong Kong Youth Strings, the Hong Kong Fantasia Symphony Orchestra and the Asian Chamber Orchestra, etc.
In 2012, Anson was honored with the Merit Award at the “Hong Kong Outstanding Teens Election” organized by the Hong Kong Playground Association. He also won The Most Outstanding Performer Award (Children and Youth) at “Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Performing Artists with Disabilities 2013” held by ADA.
